My next step would probably be to try the second windows download option and see if that works (see the windows install options image). I have looked around quite a bit and I haven´t been able to figure out what I am doing wrong. I have also tried but been unable to launch using EFI Shell but it tells me to turn off secure boot which is actually off. ![]() What I have tried is to lauch with secure boot enabeled and without. I am also unable to select my kingston drive when I select boot drive even though you can see it on the first page. What is interesting is that the USB has UEFI in front of the name. The issue I am having is that after selecting the USB flash storage (as it is called in the bios) as boot drive on advanced - boot - override boot, save, exit to restart. The windows 11 ISO I installed was the one from the windows page. Turn on the PC and press the key that opens the boot-device selection menu for the computer, such as the Esc/F10/F12 keys. I am trying to boot install windows 11 using a USB which I partitioned to ntfs with 8.6 GB (the partition). The motherboard is the asus rog strix B660-Gamin Wi-Fi. Rufus is a small application that creates bootable USB drives, which can then be used to install or run Microsoft Windows, Linux or DOS. I recently built a pc with the config you can see below. ![]() Select the USB drive from the Device drop. Choose UEFI DVD/USB boot option then press the Enter key. Then confirm boot priority - Internal Hard Drive as primary Boot Device/First boot device. ![]() If you need to change the app’s language, click the button with a globe icon. Start the computer while tapping F2 key to enter the BIOS. Maybe went a bit overkill with the images, but just wanted to be on the safe side. Connect your USB drive (8 GB is the minimum requirement) and launch Rufus.
